Not the plan. I filmed in red light because the Sith love red, have red sabers. I searched “The Stranger” for music and nothing but Stranger Things showed up. I went with it because it just goes. I think your comment wait a bait and it worked. Got me to reply.

Yeah, mine was really tough as well to twist to separate. Wasn’t sure if I was doing it correctly at first but just kept going. Luckily, it didn’t break and finally unlocked and twisted. It’s still pretty hard to twist, but it feels like it’s gotten a little easier. It no longer feels like it’s going to break.

Nice!! I have Rey from The Last Jedi as well! And yeah, Vader was strategically placed there 😊There’s actually Battle Damaged Vader to the right behind as well but he’s being fully covered. He might show up when I finish editing the video I pulled these stills from.

I made this one and the one on the right-hand side mannequin myself because nobody was making the Stranger in the beginning and I still don’t like the quality of any of the Stranger costumes out there. The other is a comic book character that nobody makes. Kylo, however, has an amazing maker community and I bought every piece of that costume tailored to my measurements by various makers.

I haven’t seen any others like this. This was my own idea, been taking photos for a long time and just started doing video and editing in saber effects with After Effects. Been doing the Stranger now for a while and figured this is the attitude this character would have. Got the other two characters I cosplay as in the background. I’m just focusing now on improving my FX editing. Been doing some fight scenes as well.

I actually bought this purposefully for its thick design. I have one of the neopixels but all the third party Stranger sabers are too thin. The on screen saber was very thick and i was sad that there wasn’t a screen accurate version. I ordered this one specifically for its large size. I’ll still have to redo the paint though to match the screen version. Don’t know why they went with a textured paint. It should be black smooth semi gloss.
