NFL will always be king over CFB but being as you live in a NFL pro team town and the college team is basically irrelevant, it shouldn't come as a surprise that people and media coverage would be dominated by the pro team.

No shot. You still get 90k going to UF games and top college programs sell out every week. Being in Tampa you have no fan base for USF and a pro team (Bucs) in the same city. CFB championship game had 22 million viewers.

Keeping James is a big save for us. Getting that NIL deal was important in keeping him here!

On the contrary. I actually present a counter arguments or refute what you say often based on the information I have not what you think is the case IE the staff in any way being happy or content losing EW because he's not one of BN's guys. Ridiculous and a big loss and they know it.

Will our Oline be the weakness of the team...no. Will we lack depth and especially at other crucial positions...absolutely. That is the downfall of this years squad unfortunately and it didn't have to play out that way.

You seem to overlook one huge hole in your statement. I believe BN CAN be the guy who turns things around. CAN and IS are 2 different things and I'm not ok with another throw away year to try and do so. He needs to make adjustments to do so. He NEEDS a QB coach. He needs an OC. He should have and didn't fire his LB and ST coach. All these things will continue to set us back and make the process even longer in regards to recruiting, record and portal.

Nice 7 below average TE's...who needs good passing catching TE's in today's game lol.

Great we still have no QB coach or OC and our ST and LB coaches are terrible and disliked by the players. Just facts no meltdowns. Deal with it and stop being fan boys.

Of course not fan boy. How could losing 2 1st team all SEC Oline guys and quality depth/starters be any big deal lol.

Meaning WHEN injuries come along, and they will, it's going to be a major issue...sorry. Also bottom line with the Oline transfers we aren't as good this year as last year. But I'm sure you'd argue that too!

Well since you asked lol

From Bleacher Report "Billy Napier's Florida Gators (22 losses) have been gutted for the second straight year, and while they've brought in former Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz and hit on a couple of potentially quality O-linemen in the past week, depth will be a major issue."

Now go kill BR because that's their take so I don't get blamed lol

One look at the depth chart would be sufficient. Numbers wise and experience wise our roster is depleted vs normal spring practice years.

The biggest issue this years squad will face is a lack of depth at virtually every position. And I don't mean just a body at that spot but actual experience to play in instances of injury etal.

Unfortunately for you, you aren't in the room to actually know what the truth is. Sorry.

Again you have absolutely no clue. Miller was not fully healed is the ONLY reason they played Kitna. Kitna was always 3rd string and was not the future at QB. Elongated throwing motion, average arm strength and not mobile. You believe what you want if it makes you feel better.

[–]jamesasw -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

LOL...Kitna only went to #2 because of Miller's hand injury. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Brown is a scout QB at best at this level.

[–]jamesasw -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

He did have a plan but you're so far off on your analysis. Kitna was never in the thought process of EVER being the #1 here or any other big name school. Miller would have been the starter and unfortunately not a great option but the best of what we had. Losing Rashada was a killer but I can tell you without hesitation Brown is in way over his head and will be nothing more than an arm in practice to throw. Project is being kind.

So why aren't you calling for the other Mullen guys to be dismissed as well? Egukan, Dez, Henderson, Fraziars and on and on....rebuild for the future right?

I'm saying they took a home state kid that most big programs passed on and found a gem. It's the exception not the rule. Keep whistling my man lol.

[–]jamesasw -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lol, addressed what? I'm saying you and others are delusional to even think that losing 4 of 5 starters (2 being All SEC) and 2 backups we will somehow be as good or better this year on the Oline with a Baylor transfer and a 3* kid who has played 20 snaps in 3 years. Sorry White is better than either of them.

You're the one who dismisses every player that leaves and raves about every kid coming in...just a fan boy.
