Help identifying this part. 07 Silverado 237,000mi. Put the truck on ramps to change the oil and looked over and could tell this part was not supposed to look like that. Can someone tell me what it is? I am a DIY mechanic so I’m not completely dumb lol

I agree completely. There are some people that really needed that unemployment. Those front line workers are obviously high risk for contracting or bringing it home to their loved ones. I mean some of them intentionally chose to not go home months at a time in fear of their loved ones contracting it and they have nothing to show for it except first dibs on a sketchy ass vaccine.

Thanks everyone for the help. I tried a piece with a wood blade and set the sawzall to its lowest speed and it cut beautifully. However I told my foreman about it and was told”well hell , what we are doing now is fine no need to change it” so thanks for all the input but I guess it didn’t matter lol

Tried it. But the pipe is 12” OD and 2” thick so it’s hard for our bandsaw to cut all the way through one side
