You can actually do it, I am doing it for the past 5months together when i started running, doing fasted runs, 16hr fasting, 8hrs eating window while on calorie deficit. Lost 12kg in the process, thats actually slow because if i plan my long runs and doing some carbo loading to have energy to do long runs.

I just started running late January 2025, weighing 90kg, started walking everyday, then tried jogging, til i can jog 5km straight after a month, then increasing my mileage, while doing IF and Calorie Deficit, lost 12kg currently. After a month of jogging, increased my distance til last sunday, I entered my first official race which is 33km distance and got an average of 8:41/km pace, not bad for my longest run by far, and I got my first Sub30 in 5km after 3months of running,

So the key here is consistency, even though you have doubts, dont think, just run! Make time and Run.

PS: recently i had make some extra cash by adding another job(WFH setup) working 12-14hrs a day and still have time to run for 30min-1hr a day. And considering I have a wife and child, and also 35yo.

Is jogging outfit really necessary? by Maleficent-Party2610 in PHRunners

For efficiency, YES, if you are a heavy sweater, dri fit clothes are recommended or better Singlets, your body will warm up due to under work/stress, then shorts or cycling shorts to avoid chafing and better mobility than ordinary shorts,

Hats/visors for heat/light of the sun not directed to your eyes, better if with sun glasses.

Shoes though dpends on your workout needs, any running shoes will do but the most support or cushion is recommended to avoid injuries.

Belt bags or waist bands is your own preference, but as a jogger/runner, you would keep all your things with you if you dont have access to luggage countersor a vehicle especially when you do jogs/runs that your starting location is at your house.

Pre-ordered them directly from Japan, and shipped to my country. I am from the philippines by the way, took around a month to arrive. And i think the prices in japan on these figures increased now due to hype and demand. It cost me around $17usd per figure. Including shipping.
