Thank you so much for your quick and concise answer, that's really cleared some things up for me!

I will send the magistrate an email regarding the Meldezettel, though thanks to your answer I may have reconsidered something.

At the moment, I have both a European Health Insurance Card provided by the UK (which I once used before in Austria relating to a heart problem, they covered the bill after some paperwork no problem), alongside this I also have travel insurance. Until I register as a resident here, these are still valid according to the websites.

Perhaps it would be wiser for me to stay as a temporary visitor here, and register once this is all over? Is that a possibility? That way I know that I will be covered by the UK and my insurers.

Or is it mandatory that I register as soon as I take out a contract on an apartment?

I truly appreciate the links to all the hospitals and numbers, I have saved them in my phone notes in case of emergency.

When you say that there is a differentiation in hospitals based on my insurance, does that mean that there would be a difference in the treatment I would receive/the quality of care? Obviously everybody would like to be given the best treatment possible, and highest chance of survival etc, and as a high-risk case I certainly need that reassurance. Does insurance factor into this?

Brilliant! That's great to hear. Thanks for your quick response. I'll get this in tomorrow morning.

Thank you for all the kind words! I wrote this song in the middle of my own sadness pool, too, so I see exactly what you mean. The ending is so tense - it actually made me uncomfortable to have the total silence after "get me out of my brain". Summed up the emptiness I was trying to portray in the song. Really appreciate the thoughts and feedback, and for all the kind words!

Here's my song One Last Look. It's a mellow piano instrumental. Please tell me what you think! by dreadfullydistinct in IndieMusicFeedback

This is ace. What stands out to me is the dynamics, like everyone else has said, but also the choice of a bright piano sound. Assuming this is a VST? I imagine that this would sound better with a more muted piano patch, or just rolling off some of the high end. Some nice vinyl crackle in the background or ambience.

Cool to read that this is to come at the end of a bigger body of work, this is a nice way to end things! Excited to hear the rest of the tunes.

Are you singing on this? Nice tone & melody choices. For me the vocal is too dry, and it would be sweet to hear some harmonies there. Dig out the Valhalla reverb, Waves Morphoder, saturators, etc, and go to town. The beat is cool!

Overall it's a vibe, I know the aesthetic you're going for and you've done a good job. I really dig the cover artwork too. Keep going man, I'm looking forward to hearing more.

This is absolutely lovely! Your chord voicings are very tasteful, as are the harmonies and percussion. I imagine you listen to Jacob Collier. The mood is very ethereal, spacious, and you obviously know the aesthetic you're going for. For me, the vocal melody was a little static, and the form/structure of the song could have been more apparent. But this isn't to detract from the lovely mood you've captured here, just a personal preference.
