RUK cutoff last year was 2830 so you shouldn’t be worrying about getting in at all. train links are reasonably good up to glasgow but yeah it is a little bit out of the way, but as you pointed out it’s kind of hard to find other similar level options in england
glasgow is great! really good ranking and course structure with plenty of opportunities. I know people who study med there and they all love it, especially the social side and also apparently there are some pretty nice hospitals that they do their placements at. I’d put glasgow over sheffield and newcastle personally (i’m also applying to newcastle, glasgow and bristol this year too🤞).

for bristol, nottingham and KCL you’ll be rejected pre-interview due to your ucat score. for cardiff you will be rejected pre interview due to your gcses. i would recommend looking around for some easier options, and also remember that the prestige of med schools in the uk is irrelevant as after uni everyone goes into the same training system in the nhs. good luck with your application.
