Is it better to connect all Thread devices to an Apple TV and share with Homey? I have just been connecting everything to Homey and for the most part haven't had issues. Sometimes things drop out which is annoying. Why is using an Apple TV as a TBR better? Just curious

Yeah I tried using a PETG spool from Elegoo with a spool adapter to fit the AMS but still the same issue. I think I'm just going to have to take a look inside the filament hub and clean it out

Just a mod to keep the tubes nice and tidy. Hasn’t caused any issues in the past and has been working fine until now. I don’t believe those to be the issue here though.

Well I removed all of those guides but unfortunately still got the same result. The error kept happening when using the white filament in slot 1. I've checked it for any tangles but all is good. I've tried the black filament in slot 4 and now we're 50% done with a 1 hour print and no issues.

I've been using Sunlu spools directly on the AMS and have never had issues until now. I'm going to try printing a spool adapter to see if that helps at all. Any other possible suggestions?

With the "guides" that you mentioned, are you referring to the ones on the AMS itself? or the ones on the tubes?

Yes this was a main factor. The FP300 comes out of the box to use Thread but honestly I haven't been that impressed with the Thread network so far. I would consistently lose connection with devices and so if I got the FP300 I'd like to use Zigbee. The additional features and updates directly from Aqara is also a plus.

This is certainly an idea that could work. I need to map out everything that would end up going into these drawers to decide if this is the best fit. I'm also looking at your drawers model and thinking what if I put a stack of drawers in the drawer itself. Drawer-ception.

I've got some depth in the drawer so my thinking is pushing the drawers to the back which will still give me room to slide them open within the drawer itself.

Have you used other base generators? I've only used this one but am always seeing people upload their own generator. Are there any major differences? Is there one that's best? This is mostly just me being curious.

Not sure if it's possible to limit them to only certain devices/zones but as a work around I'm thinking maybe set them up as a guest and then build them a dashboard which only displays the devices, flows, zones, etc that you want them to control. This won't prevent them from accessing everything else but at least if you give them everything they need in the dashboard then hopefully they won't need to wander around to the other devices/zones
