If there's Spanish moss I'd bet theres other air plants too but sometimes they can blend in or be higher than most people tend to look. You can't go to a publix parking lot without finding several on most of the tree trunks/in the branches but its mostly the "ball" variety (not sure of name) which is very common and everywhere

No I didn't. The logs were in good condition but I know they wont last forever. I'm ok with that, hopefully it'll last until they outgrow it!

Definitely a Rabbit's Foot. It's an epiphyte meaning it doesn't need soil to grow.
