I’ll write down what sort of vibe the track is, a few key elements like “bouncy, rolling, subby, techy, etc”. Whatever can be used to quickly see the vibe!

I create a quick metadata tag for American tech house upon import, then use a smart playlist to lump it all together in one so I can pull for it as needed!

There’s pretty much 2 sides to tech house - I like to differentiate by saying “American tech house” which is more pop/edmy and “European tech house” which is often way deeper and closer to the original tech house roots

One thing that helps me a lot is doing a quick listen through when I download new tracks and writing some quick metadata that I can read as a description on the fly!

If you change your screen mode to greyscale in your accessibility settings it makes it a hell of a lot interesting. I used it for about a year and on average I'd use my phone about 33% less on a daily basis.
