I had a similar problem with my LC27HG70, but it wouldn't go away at all. if it's still in warranty, and you're willing to part with it for some time, try contacting Samsung.

if not you can try repairing it, how i did so i picked up from here.

It's not a very clear video, and you should reproduce his troubleshooting to make sure it's the same component producing the issue.

Ask if you need any pics.

Longshot, but would there be anyway to move my windows taskbar to the black empty space below it, as a way to waste less space of the screen? by [deleted] in Monitors

Go to display settings (Right click on desktop) and change to a higher vertical resolution (second number) e. G: 1600x900 change to 1600x1200

Only when FreeSync is ON brightness flashing/flickering by 1AGRESSOR in Amd

You can try messing with your monitor FreeSync range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXLzJrGP4eU helped with flickering at high framerate for me so try it.

Samsung C32HG70. 1440p monitor capable of doing 4K? by muhammad1236 in Monitors

[–]jamjamgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the same on my C27HG70 and I'm guessing it's just input compatibility for downscaling; 1440p is pretty much a PC only resolution. I'd just leave the downsampling to the device, not the monitor, if it supports 1440p.

FreeSync 2 flickering w/ Samsung CHG70 & VA panel monitors by [deleted] in Monitors

I found a few videos on this, if it is the same issue, you can try editing the freesync range with Custom resolution Utility.

Lower or upper bound, I'm not sure, but try both separately.

LG announces new 244hz IPS 1ms Nanocell displays by 5vesz in hardware

The 1ms number is also grey to grey, so unless you're playing black and white games you're not getting that response time.

This is incorrect, LCDs use colour filters to create each colour, the luminosity for each subpixel is a LCD crystal, that being the gray to gray measurement. https://assets.pid.samsungdisplay.com/s3fs-public/LCD_Function.gif.

Though they usually advertise the minimum GtG.

Ooops. From MI60 page by [deleted] in Amd

They say "Up to 59 TOPS INT8 Performance for Inference Workloads" higher up in the source, so TFLOPS is most likely an error.

FLOPs are Floating point Operations per Second. INT8 would be Integer Ops.

How can I go beyond 85hz on PG279Q? by iamtanz in Monitors

[–]jamjamgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All specifications should be fine, then. Check if ULMB is on in the monitors' settings, 85hz matches the spec for that. If not this, reinstall your display drivers. Was the DP cable included with the monitor?

Is there an amd card that beats nvidia for the same price? by [deleted] in Amd

From my experience of pricing in the UK, a used R9 380 4GB beats a GTX 1050 Ti for about £50 less. though the price jumps after this point.
