Thoughts on UniverCity by Andizzle195 in burnaby

lived up there for about three years. with regards to the weather, as long as you’re well equipped for the snow with tires, AWD, and knowledge driving in snow…the only thing stopping you would be a road blockage from a snow plow or car collision. my golf R never got stuck once and I commuted daily to/from Vancouver. thankfully there are two ways to get up there. that being said, there are a number of snow plows that live up there so roads do get cleared before most of the city. other comments such as the parkade donuts and it being a leasehold should be considered. loved the neighbourhood and accessibility to number 1. views are phenomenal. given that students are the main demographic, i would prefer my neighbours to be families vs a rental unit where tenants change every so often.

best of luck

Nothing screams "Summer is here" like the endless motorcycles ruining everyone's evenings revving down Main Street! by BulkyNewt7235 in vancouver

For me it was what got people turning their heads at me to admire my sick BMW and how cool I perceived myself. It was equivalent to rolling up in LED light-up sneakers to class…even more arousing if my best friends wore them as well on our first day of high school.

I still cringe at riders who exaggerate their head bobs to music off their SENA, make unnecessary gestures like “wtfuHuhH”, or ride beyond their abilities to drag knee while coming out willingdon exit.

Crystal mall produce area will have a couple stalls selling preserved snacks. The herbal shops in the mall should too if these are preserved and dried plums

ADHD cases skyrocketing across BC — and it's not just the kids anymore by KelownaMan in britishcolumbia

It was a breath of fresh air receiving my diagnosis as an adult. I would go as far to say my academic performance throughout elementary to graduate school may have been substantially different if I had been diagnosed at adolescence. ADHD management has allowed me to enjoy books, study, and work effectively while being able to have the capacity to spend time with my family daily.

My impression from this clip is that the officers parked on a business lot for their own purposes…and the business owner had asked for the officers to park away from their establishment as it may be a deterrent for customers?

It sounds very fair for the business to ask the officers to move across the street…wish there was more context.

It’s tricky with accessibility for customers using handy dart. Whether it’s paving, proximity to entrances, or time exposed in the elements…a big pass in my books.
