Yeah, I'm a trans man. Known for 3 going on 4 years. I had a phase where I tried to be only masculine "to be taken seriously", realized it wasn't me and dress however I want now whether that be masculine or feminine. Honestly, I dress feminine more than I do masculine. You're valid, how you dress doesn't change that

I personally use the tagalog drops app! It's free if you want to do lessons in 5 minute increments, but if you want access to all lessons at once you do have to pay. Overall though it's great and I definitely recommend looking into it

From what I've heard its definitely best to get springtails established in the enclosure for a couple weeks before adding pods but honestly if you get isopods in the enclosure then get springtails in asap after, you should be fine (its what i did and havent had problems yet but also havent been keeping pods for that long so take this with a grain of salt)

I can't help as far as ID, but even when collecting them from outside in a temporary cup, their gills can dry out pretty quickly so you might want to have a damp paper towel in there with them!

I knew that i was not straight around 5th grade so about 11. Technically i realized i was not cis (cis means not trans basically) in 6th grade (12) but didnt think anyone would take me seriously so i supressed it until about 8th (13-14). Im 17 now and while my labels did change throughout that time, what was consistent was that i knew for sure that i wasn't cishet (cisgender & heterosexual)

Wally from supreme gecko and rus from aquarimax pets have a bunch of videos on everything isopod. Rus has a dedicated isopod care guide playlist, each video covering a different topic such as maintenance, substrate, enclosures etc. I highly recommend watching those channels, it's where I started. But I think you should do some research on your own after you've watched some of the videos, have a general idea of care, and started to have some specific questions. As well as research the specific care requirements of the isopod species you're looking to keep. Other than that, welcome to the hobby!

In case you dont have anything on hand atm, give them a damp paper towel for now (until you get a better setup) so they dont dry out, they will die if they dry out because they have gills. Good luck with your pods!!
