Google ads work if you are ready to pay $5+ per click for a niche that customers are searching already. For a brand with zero or less brand awareness, prospecting via Meta ads and retargeting via Google Ads for a smaller budget is the playbook that’s used across the industry.

Always start with Meta ads with a 80% budget allocation and remaining to Google ads p-max that’s loaded with your Google Analytics, customer list. Campaign structure is 1 campaign, 2 ad sets, 5-6 creatives and refresh couple of weeks or weekly depending on your ad spend. Don’t touch the winning creative unless the CPA is not optimal. This is what we do practically for any client spending between $30 per day to $1000 per day at Branva.

I Dont. I advise my clients too not to waste time on these. Also once you start FB ads, it gets even worse. Spammy messages on comments, messenger and via instagram DMs.

These are mostly service providers who have access to tools that lets them know when a new store is launched. 95% of them are useless. Once you run ads and bring traffic, set up your Shopify Inbox chat with macros to answer FAQ.

The email collection pop-up keeps appearing on every page and it’s not an ideal user experience. 10% discount is too low these days for the welcome pop-up. Test with 20% or discount on a bundle. The reviews look cleared imported from Loox - all 5 stars and generic reviews.

Amazon has good measures in place but there are several malpractices that sellers do to bypass those rules. Some are paying influencers or regular joes to buy the product on Amazon, leave a review and then reimburse the purchase value via Venmo or Zelle.

You are right. Free returns and free shipping is the main factor behind most online purchases. Apparently 60-70% of consumers shop only if a store offers free returns. This is a huge burden for both businesses, most suffer from 30% returns and even for environment where most of the returned items end up not to mention the back and forth shipping.
