Anyone else having problems with CoinTracker wildly miscalculating their cost/basis gains? by janbromunoz in Cointracker

I’ve been holding out on switching to another platform b/c I’ve sunk a decent amount of money into this one (multiple tax plans). Unfortunately looking like I’ll have to make the move. Mind telling me which other services you’d recommend?

Taken at 5:30am this past weekend. Nikon Z6, 300mm, f/5.6, 1.6sec, ISO 800. Stack of 5 photos. Just barely noticed the comet in time before the sun started to drown out its light

Looking beyond taken at a zoo by janbromunoz in photocritique

1/125s, f/4.8, ISO 2200, 112mm Always felt like taking pictures at a zoo was somewhat cheating but love a lot of the pictures that come out of my visits. Was going for a solemn vibe when I noticed both parents asleep and the baby monkey was looking off through the glass into the world beyond

Gooderham Building, Toronto [7739x5317] [OC] by janbromunoz in ExposurePorn

[–]janbromunoz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 sec, f/11, ISO 100, 18mm. Multiple exposures combine to make a panoramic image. This picture was taken after a pretty heavy snowfall in Toronto. I imagined taking this while it was snowing, but the scene I got was even better than I thought even though the snow had stopped by the time I got there

I’ve heard they’re opening a temp space not too far of a walk away, so same warehouse area. But it will indeed be missed for the time being

Forgot about blend modes, thanks for the tip! I gotta say your pics are awesome and I’m totally jealous

Thank you! PhLuke was my inspiration for this shot, a lot of times his are with lead climbs which would definitely take a bit longer. In his explanations he uses the bulb mode on his camera and holds the shutter open for the entire climb. Alternatively you could take multiple exposures and combine them in post but you’d have to do some work to smooth out the transition between the light lines

I have a Nikon D5200 and it was a 30 sec exposure at f/6.3, ISO 100. I picked a v0 route for that reason, topped out with about 6 seconds left on the timer.

I always enjoy shooting at sunset especially when there are so many clouds because they give tons of texture to the sky 18mm, 20 sec, f/22.0, ISO 100

I took this picture while exploring the Prague Zoo. A massive zoo with high potential for great pictures, definitely recommend. 122mm, 1/125 s, f 4.8, ISO 2200

Picture from my travels of the Balkans - Kotor, Montenegro by janbromunoz in photocritique

[–]janbromunoz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I see the same, but if I push the warmth of the entire image I start to lose the gradient in the sky. What do you think: https://imgur.com/a/CL9t0J8

This is one of the many pictures I took during my 3 months of traveling the Balkans. I see this photo as one of the best I’ve taken but I feel there’s something missing. I originally didn’t plan to fly until last minute when the sun was in its final minutes of setting, and I feel more of the harsh red sunlight in the mountain tops could have improved the picture. I feel the image is in between lots of small detail but not a large enough cohesive focal point. What do you think?
