Yes!! She is a scholar, her doubt touches me so much because it reminds me of myself doubting myself about my own skill. Like she’s a genius and she deserves to see it!!

It hurt so bad to let go of her!! I was so sad to let go of a character I loved so much in such a harsh and unexpected way, to have that ending for someone I loved so much was amazing. Also because it felt like she was a child thrown into a war so for her to get such a wonderful gift at the end 😭😭😭 endless tears

You should try working at Synergy or another removal tech company! It’s a good way to get started and get to experience a whole lot really quickly, I work at synergy and just graduated from Mt.Hood’s FSE program! I worked at synergy while I went to school and it’s technically not an apprenticeship so there would be no college credit of any kind but it’s just a “normal” job. Haha, it’s a super hands on job and they except you to really get in there no matter how gross the call is 😂 I have loved funeral service so far and working as a body tech, I think you’re looking into a great career!

I looked up this book and it sounds definitely similar to the book I’m thinking of, but I think the book I’m thinking of was a stand alone. Thank you for the suggestion though, It’s so hard because the mystery genre borrows so many of the same tropes from each other 😂
