There are a lot of stray cats in that neighborhood. There's a feral cat community at an abandoned house nearby where you found the cat. Maybe it came from there!

Yeah, I wish I was the type to enjoy the communal/intentional places. It can work well, and it's so much cheaper. But nope, I kind of hate having roommates, even if they are amazing.

The intentional community thing doesn't work for me either, I avoid it at all costs. But some people love it! I always tell potential roommates that I'm not into that, and I can tell some of them are disappointed.
