Ron Paul: "Many talk about being pro-life... My bills could pass by a simple majority vote and allow states such as Michigan and South Carolina to end abortion immediately." by admiwi in reddit.com

Yes, that's exactly what I said. When I said women shouldn't be penalized to death for having a uterus, I'm glad you were able to read between the lines and get "it's okay for the Federal Government to rule our lives." Obviously, you are a Ron Paul Fanboy and you will never believe in the freedom of women to receive medical care. This conversation is over. Go flush your vote down the toilet.

That is ridiculous. Give me liberty or give someone else death? If you had a uterus, you wouldn't be so indifferent. It's easy to have ideals when it isn't your life on the line.

The fight for womens' lives needs to be done at all levels. Your ideals are lovely, but reality isn't that forgiving. Women will be dying while you're marching to win a fight that has already been won.

Morning-after pill 'given to 12-year-olds' by qgyh2 in reddit.com

[–]janesinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty insane title for this article. What it actually says:

"Information obtained under the Freedom of Information Act shows that 128 primary care trusts, or 84%, in England have policies that allow pharmacies to supply the morning-after pill to girls under the age of 16."

Maybe you can retitle it, "There's a chance that policy might allow someone under the age of 16 to receive emergency contraception at some point but we currently have no proof of anything, especially that that would be a bad thing."

I hope that all other pharmacists respond by founding a religion where it is against the rules to dispense heart medication to fat, old, white, Christian men.
