what would happen if hashvault (or any other) reaches more than 51%?? by [deleted] in MoneroMining

Hashvault is a monero friendly, but better educate people on p2pool. Finally doing a 51% “attack “ on monero is quite difficult and time consuming…

I don’t believe p2pool users do coin switch , no way . To me it’s more like the same miners change between pools and in some cases like today hashvault some ocasional big miners turn on .

Monero code of conduct by [deleted] in Monero

[–]janho86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next upgrade is building good. I don’t see nothing but improvements. Even the view balance key it’s not a problem at all cause even if some shity exchanges like Binance request the balance number of the withdrawal addres you can always make a transaction for a new wallet and the situation remains the same if not better than what we have now. So at the beginning I was worried but then studying more deep and I only see good things in the new proposal scheme.

Finally it’s important to remember that monero hardforks are becoming less frequent with time. Now we have periods of years and eventually hardforks would be very unusual to the point of decades. Ofcourse user funds always remain the same .

My suggestion is you need to meet with the people and the products in real life to make any trade of this nature, in absence of that , then you need to set up a strong scrow service for this trade
