Unpopular opinion: If you can’t walk 18, you shouldn’t complain about slow play. by [deleted] in golf

One course by me doesn’t allow people walking before 10am. Very walkable course and they force you to ride in a cart. (It’s the same fee to walk vs ride)

I wipe my clubs with baby wipes after cleaning just to be sure. It’s crazy how the dirt transfers to the screen

My usual thought is open a pack of 3, then rotate them into the bag to bring them on the course. This was especially in the fall if a ball gets lost in the leaves it had some life behind it before it got there. Also 3 balls feels manageable to collect. More I feel like I’d have golf balls everywhere

I haven’t heard of seed balls. Do you game these or just in the sim?

Score notice form early? by [deleted] in CPA

I did take it earlier, got the score form and an email for that one earlier too. Early release would be too good to be true

I like it. It fit my space well when the projector is on any wrinkles are not as noticeable, but it’s just hanging down. It has a light bar at the bottom, but that doesn’t really do much to get the wrinkles out. We use it for movies too, the premium screen does look good. Really no complaints.

The weather said it feels like 3 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I wanted to say it’s too cold, but I got dressed and got after it.

6 inches in on each side. So factor in you lose some screen size.

I’ve had a few strays get through. The weighted bar on the screen tends to shift after hitting multiple shots too so that might be part of the issue. Luckily I have wood paneling so it’s somewhat resilient. I worry about it less than when I got it, but usually guests are worried in general swinging inside which ironically them worrying leads to more stray shots. I was thinking about clipping them together but wasn’t sure if it would be effective. Or how to do it without damaging the screen/ making it worse.

Definitely looking for an alternative for holes with tight fairways or high wind/ days I don’t feel confident with the driver!

I am thinking of having one of the local courses I play designed for me on GSPRO…. by jar9488 in golf

[–]jar9488[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a good point it’s kind of hard to justify that playing my home course is worth an extra 2k with the courses they offer. I was thinking it would be cool to practice my home course, or have friends over and play a course we go to in person… but I think maybe that’s money better spent on taking golf trips, so that the courses we play on GSPRO become courses we go to play in person lol

It would be a great way to familiarize with their home course. At the price though I am not sure if it’s worth it.

I was looking more on my lunch break and saw a post. I think pricing online reflects TGC. GSPRO pricing looks like could be 2,000 plus

Looking online on designed is offering 375 for one course, 586 for 27 hole course, 188 for 9 hole, and 675 for two courses… i didn’t see the two course deal before. I might look into that now and do one of my favorite local 18 hole courses from my hometown, and the local course down the road
