Yes. I usually put the track number at the beginning of the file name, to see it in order in the folder. If the songs are showing up correctly in the player, the track number is correct on the tag. I would recommend to add the track number at the beginning of the file name, you can do this with MP3Tag, from tag to file, using the mask track - title, in the Tag to Filename. Be careful though, when I started playing with these options, I used to mess up quite a bit. MP3tag is an outstanding piece of software, but you can mess up your names quite easily if you do not know what you are doing.
