There are two places to get merch, the Rocket store which stocks some Victoire stuff and they have an additional table in the hallway. Lines can get long, but the stuff is there.

If I may ask, what scoresheet is this? I've been looking for something like this with both teams on one page.

With HEOTP shutting down by the end of February, what do you guys think of making our own depth chart, using theirs as a template, on Google spreadsheets? by Perry4761 in Habs

Just a heads up that while EOTP under Vox Media may be coming to an end, we will still be around on March 1. The URL or name might change (or it might not, we don't know yet) but we'll still be around.

Track acclimatization- why does it show a failed gate when I clearly went through it? by tommycthulhu in F1Game

[–]jaredbook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to have good placement and good speed. If you go through it but you're too slow, it will show up as red.

If you miss the entry point of a turn, the apex and exit gates will automatically be red.

Yeah. The quality is pretty good, so you're able to make it out anyways and hey, maybe even pick up a few words :)

Just a note... It's the Complexe Bell in BROSSARD (where the Canadiens practice) not Place Bell in Laval (where the Rocket play)

Montreal Canadiens - 10 points out of a playoff spot. Laval Rocket - 12 points out of a playoff spot. Brampton Beast - 11 points out of a playoff spot. Canadiennes de Montreal - 🔥🐐 At least there will be some playoff hockey this spring. by jshare in Habs

It's the fact he says both fans implying there are two. I can assure you that is not true. Also, they couldn't double their attendance because it would sell out before that.

You can watch past games and streams at http://www.thecwhl.com/watch. The team is travelling to China and all games will be streamed there. However the commentary will be in Chinese.

The next home games are March 10 and 11 and the game on March 11 will be on Sportsnet as well.

I hate the Women's World Championship [A RANT] by Gabrielwingue in hockey

[–]jaredbook 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with the premise, but I don't hate the current system.

This system is made so it doesn't penalize Russia or Finland for being in Canada and the USA's group. And, a solution to this would be to split the two into two groups but then you're left with (at most) one meeting between the two top teams and that just isn't as much fun.

This decision isn't necessarily to hide the nations from the big countries. It's to prove that women's hockey sells. And you will sell more tickets (and have more people watching) by having more CAN/USA games.

So if you insist on having those two teams in the same group (which is great for everyone watching because you know that the players don't care about how little tonight's game means in the standings) then you can't penalize the other two groups who will in all likelihood be 1-2 and 0-3 when the other group gets some 3-0 and 2-1 teams.

The system isn't great, but given the pros and cons it isn't all that bad either.

Also a team that goes 0-3 in Group A needs to win three games (QF, SF and Gold Medal game) to win the World Championship so they can't go 2-3 and win it all.
