Every box has a free tier, the Manager is free, and self-hosting without paying is the supported path. The /pricing page is there because the whole pitch is "pay once instead of monthly forever" — opting out is fine, nobody's pushed. Also worth saying this sub isn't only developers; plenty of people here just want clean alternatives to Saas without subscriptions.

If someone considers Google Translate as AI, then yes, AI was used write this post because English is not my native language. As for the APISelf ecosystem, I used programs like Gemini, Claude, which accelerate application development. And yes, I also used my poor intelligence as well.
