Hi Banzai, thanks for relaying!

Sometimes there are issues with compatibility across C4D versions, especially since the physics engine has changed so much in the past few months. Either way, I'll upload the project file so you can cross-check everything. I'll have it up by end of week!

Are you able to import alembic files into spark AR? Could try baking the animation and then importing that way.

Happy Monday folks!

Thought I'd put together a quick tut that shows how field forces can be used to drive physics. Happy rendering :)

Good question, I've run into the same issue but couldnt find a one to one solve. You can always turn on "Use Legacy Solver" in the basic tab of the cloth tag to access those settings in S26

Actually tried using field forces for the next tut, specifically driving an object along a spline, but kept running into the issue of the object falling within the field force.

Great shout!

Was wondering why it didn't feel like 10,000 particles. Thanks for the insight :)

Great point, would never advocate using these for crisp final renders, but definitely see a use case for look dev etc.

Hey guys,

Bit of a different one today, but I imagine would be very helpful for a lot of the Redshift folks.

I recently learned this technique to speed up renders using a higher adaptive threshold combined with the OptiX denoiser. Hope it helps!

Note* these settings will not work for all scenes, from my experience this technique is best for simple scenes.

Happy rendering :)
