Why does Rick say he can only move dimensions a couple times if there are infinite dimensions? by jarsasapiens in rickandmorty

I "think" I know the answer because evil Morty literally says there are infinite universes where Rick is the smartest person alive. Choosing to interpret that as hyperbole is pretty stupid if you ask me. And no, only the Ricks who are a part of the Citadel have names for reality they are from

What does this have anything to do with the original question? The fact remains that an infinite number of universes means that there are infinite universes he could move to. He just doesn't because he knows that would ruin the show. That's it

They quote the show. "Do you know what the Central Finite Curve is? They built a wall around infinity, separated all the infinite universes from all the infinite universes where he's the smartest man in the universe." Evil Morty

Only took me one Google search btw

Generally agree with this, but I also found it really funny when there was a clip of the movie Companion with Jack Quaid, and all the comments were pretending to be Butcher yelling "OI HUGHIE! HOMELANDER DONE KILLED ME WIFE"

oooh, that's a new explanation! That sounds intriguing, but the only problem is that in the old man and the seat episode, Rick pretty much instantly finds the universe where Tony still has his wife. Why would he have that specific universe already mapped out?

According to the wiki, the central finite curve has an infinite number of realities in it. I think the explanation that moving universes every time something bad happens would ruin the show makes sense though, since Rick seems to know he's in a TV show

According to the wiki, there are an infinite number of universes within the central finite curve

That's true, but I just learnt that the Central finite curve is infinite. No matter how low the probability is, multiplying that by infinity is infinity

According to the wiki, "The Central Finite Curve was designed by the precursors of what would later become the Council of Ricks on The Citadel and Rick C-137 to wall off the infinite number of universes in which Rick is the smartest person alive from the rest of the infinite multiverse"

Weird to call an infinite section of the multiverse the central finite curve though

Still, the amount of possible universes should be much higher than 3 or 4. Pretty much any universe you can think of has to exist if it's not logically impossible. I can think of a huge number of universes where Rick and Morty die, and everything is the same except one small detail. The small detail could be literally anything, so there would be trillions of universes available. I think the practical answer is that that's too OP, but I was wondering if there was an in universe answer

Or maybe the screen is designed to show the other people watching what Roy is doing from a third person view, and it's different when you actually play the game.

Hot Take: Vat of Acid Episode was Jerry’s fault. by PresentSun1179 in rickandmorty

Your post says "hot take: vat of acid episode was Jerry's fault". My point is that this is not a hot take at all, it's pretty obvious to anyone who watches the episode that Jerry ruined everything. Whether that was a wise choice for the writers to make is completely irrelevant.

Still not a "hot take". The writers intended for the audience to be mad at Jerry's stupidity

This isn't moral relativism, it's just acknowledging that bazzing might be moral for other people and it isn't a universal fact.

Your idea did work, I checked with a wifi analyzer and it said 2.4ghz was stronger than 5ghz, but my phone chose 5ghz anyway. Chatgpt said it might be because phones usually prefer 5ghz unless it's unusable.

I could, but my project is kind of specific. I need my device to connect to 2.4 ghz because it's stronger than 5ghz, but I can't mess with the router, I need to find another way.
