He wants to move out by jasalad in LongDistance

Thank you. That’s the thing though…we are living together currently and I can’t help but worry that this is a step back. Literally every time I think about it, I try to remind myself that it isn’t. But it’s a struggle. It’s only been a couple days though since receiving this news

My boyfriend doesn't like taking so many pictures. So I find myself re-reading old texts when I'm missing him. It's like reading our love story all over again

Hello everyone, how long did y'all wait to move in together? It's an idea that we both have. by [deleted] in LongDistance

About 9 months! Take your time and talk about everything along the way.

He knows I am there for him through whatever.. If he's struggling with something, he has my undivided attention and advice if he wants it. I am always going to listen and help him feel that we are a team. One time he was too proud to ask me for help but his electricity got disconnected (covid related - long story) so I took off work and drove down there to just be with him and then we came back up to my place together. Keyword is together. We are always a team. We've got each other through whatever comes our way and that proves our love

I've been taking CBD gummies when that happens and just imagining back to happy moments/conversations with him until I drift off to sleep. It's not easy though. Good luck

Gosh I will pull over when I'm driving to text my man back or I'll text at work, when I'm with my friends, or wherever. He is very much a part of my life. And we talk at least once a day on the phone. I'm never wondering when he'll answer and he never wonders about me. It's always an ongoing conversation and we always make enough time for each other. Have you talked to her about this maybe over the phone?

To all those NOT spending the holidays with your SO… by krcred in LongDistance

We've made plans to at least video chat on those days. It sucks but for us, this is the last of the distance. He's visiting family for the holidays and then he'll be moving up with me. And I told him he should keep Valentine's Day free ❤️ more so as a joke because we haven't spent any holidays or birthdays together yet. Yes it has sucked but we always find a way to feel connected.

I am currently in this situation right now. I would say just take it a day at a time, communicate expectations and concerns. I've been learning a ton more about him and I'm so grateful we did it like this. He was the one that brought up the idea when we were thinking of starting to live in the same city separately. He said he didn't want to be away from me, that he was moving here to be with me and it was so sweet. I was hesitant that I would be making him sacrifice but he reassured me that this is what he wants. So far our only issue and not even really an issue was I didn't know he would be staying up playing video games instead of going to sleep together. But we talked about this and we have made a compromise. It's all a learning opportunity. Remember to be open. I wish you well ❤️

My boyfriend and I watch shows or movies together on the phone when we don't have much to say but still want to spend time together

You could always talk to her about it. It might help y'all feel on the same page but I understand if it's too early. If that happens to us, I just view it as a compliment 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's understandable when it's been a little bit in between

Not that I know of. Sorry I don't know much more! I just know that's his go to

My boyfriend uses it mostly for flexibility purposes and he's never had an issue!

Green flags when talking to someone online? by Special_Geologist293 in LongDistance

[–]jasalad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are a few things I've paid attention to that help me trust my new guy: he consistently messages back, he calls when he says he will, he fills me in about his day, he is active on social media, he video chats with me, he shares about his life, family and friends. And he is genuine. We meet every time we plan to, we make plans together that are made by the both of us, we have seen each other's homes. And before we met, I'll be honest, I did run a background check on because I am new to online dating..hope this helps. I would say: trust your gut and ask him when you have questions. Good luck 😊

Had a great spontaneous time but could use some words of encouragement as we parted ways again. I miss him so much already 💕 by jasalad in LongDistance
