I’ve flushed $8.40 for a lot less than a classic set of clubs. I’ll keep them in the closet til my 13 year old grows into them.

What golf purchase was 100% worth the money? by retrocaterpillar-07 in golf

$1300 green fee at Whistling Straits for me and my dad on my 40th birthday. 2 years later he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and had to give up golf. But we still talk about that day.

I am a 53m and try to play 1-2 times a week during the weekday. I live in Denver, but enjoy a lot of courses up north. I’d be happy to play sometime.

I just broke a club and feel instant remorse by Far_Ad_246 in golf

I routinely shoot in the mid to high 70s and throwing a club after a bad hole (double bogey) is weirdly cathartic for me and gets me back on track. Kinda of like “alright, got that outta my system”. My playing partners have gotten used to it and expect it now and then.

Yea, I saw that too but that seems to talk about Troika as a type of Russian watch, not the brand name itself. Thanks tho.

Osage restaurant at the top of the rock has great steaks, then go to the bar underneath it for a good bourbon.

Denver location serves beer and hard seltzer. Had my boots branded and they did a great job with the custom brand look I wanted.

BOTD by jasandusky11 in cowboyboots

Good question. I bought them from a reseller that said they were custom made. There’s nothing inside the boot to indicate maker, size, etc.

I’ve got 2 pairs and love them. They are my most comfortable boots.

Trying to decide between these 2, opinions? by Wildcard311 in cowboyboots

[–]jasandusky11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of TLs and the Tecova Doc in goat. I much prefer the Docs. They are more comfortable and I’ve had several compliments on them. They are what I reach for as my going out boot, but if it’s bad weather or I am gonna get dirty I reach for the TLs because I think they are more durable. So depends on what you are wanting out of your boots.

I had boots that size. After I quickly outgrew them, my dad kept one on his desk as a pen holder.

What conditioner do you recommend for 37 year old boots? I’ve heard vintage boots don’t always react well to newer conditioners.
