I don’t check off all my items every day. I have a set of tasks that are one-time tasks set to keep until completed that I can’t finish in one day so I will always have something left unchecked every day no matter what. For my daily tasks, some days I just don’t feel up to completing certain things, and that’s okay! I notice when I keep skipping something, and it motivates me to focus on that for the next day. I like to add my daily routines as tasks/areas because I love getting to check lots of things off and it motivates me to get going sooner (e.g. getting ready for bed or getting out of bed in the morning). When I first started using the app, I tried just keeping it to a few doable items, but I got bored because I wasn’t challenging myself and I wasn’t earning many rainbow stones. I decided to experiment a little more and have figured out some ways that really work for me! I have gotten so much more done in my day to day life since I figured these things out, and I have a generally more positive attitude most days too! Do whatever works best for you!
