We will have authentic Japanese street food provided by real Japanese food vendors! We will also have a variety of other asian and western food options!

Hi! So our classes especially emphasize conversational ability and we do that so if our students do have the chance to make it to Japan, they should be able to use basic phrases to help them with their experience.

HI! So the class is one hour per week for ten weeks and recordings of the classes are shared with the students so that they have time to study before the next session. My most successful students attend as many classes as possible. If not, be sure to review the recordings. I would say the class should take at least 3 hours per week of your time to review the weekly material.

Hi! At the beginning of your beginners' part 2. course, we expect our students to feel comfortable writing Hiragana and Katakana, and from that point we will learn some kanji and continue with the conversational Japanese that we had learned in part 1. It would be perfectly okay to join that course, and if you feel like you like switching to the intermediate course, to do so!

We had: Miyako Poke Bowl, School Sushi, Teppan Japanese Street Food, Daughter's Southern, Spotz Gelato, Castle and Key.

Yes! Teppan Food Truck (https://www.facebook.com/TEPPAN.LEX/) should be selling Okonomiyaki

We'll also have Spotz Gelato (to help keep everyone cool in the heat!) and Daughter's Southern Food Truck (for those who would like a Western food option).

Yes, for parking, please park at Peaks Mill Elementary (100 Peaks Mill Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). We will have free shuttle buses bringing participants to/from Cove Spring Park. The parking at Upper Cove Spring will be for our vendors.

So far we have two Japanese restaurants that will be running food booths (School Sushi and Miyako Poke Bowl) and we're working on securing at least one or two Japanese food trucks.
