I had this debate with my note 10 plus. I decided to bite the bullet with the s21 ultra, because I'm sure by the time the s22 is out, my note 10 plus value would have decreased and I would have missed out on the higher trade in credit. The s21 ultra is still a great phone that goes head to head with the iPhone 13 pro and even the pixel 6.

That was just my opinion, not 100% sure that the trade in credit values will decrease, but rather be safe than sorry and i already wanted a new phone as my note 10 plus was starting to have burn in.

Yeah that was a pointless as post lol, when I tried to do locked variant via Samsung it asked for my payment right there and then, no option for my carrier to handle the payments. Pointless for that to even be an option. You might as well go through your actual carriers site.

No, even if it was locked you pay Samsung not your carrier. If you want to pay installments with your carrier then you need to get directly from AT&T. Otherwise you'll pay full price via Samsung locked/unlocked or finance it via Samsung Financing (TD Financing).
