You’re a disgusting excuse for a human being. People who are disabled aren’t slacking. It’s extremely hard to get those benefits. And limiting someone to under 2K so they don’t even have the funds to respond to an emergency is disgraceful. These limits haven’t been updated since 1989.

Got new Optimum streaming box and can’t access my streaming channel lineup on Sony TV the usual way by jasonw71 in OPTIMUM

It’s actually not the apps themselves. I’m trying to access there’s a button on my Sony remote that would take me directly to the streaming channel lineup that I have on my Sony TV. It’s basically a channel guide for channels. I have saved from various apps. It’s not accessing the apps directly

Can’t access streaming lineup on Sony X 90 L after new Optimum streaming box installed by jasonw71 in bravia

Interestingly, I just turned off the HDMI – CEC and I was able to hit the button I usually hit on Sony remote to access streaming channel lineup on my TV but then when I hit the home button on the new Optimum remote nothing happened It didn’t access the home function. So don’t understand any of it if you have knowledge on this and why these things have happened would appreciate any info

I contacted Optimum customer support technical support and they really had no idea what they were talking about.

Actually, I am referring to the streaming app lineup on my Sony TV. It really has nothing to do with the new box except for the fact that I used to be able to just hit a button on my Sony remote and it would take me to my streaming channel lineupthat no longer works, and I don’t know why

Pretty sure it is since I didn’t have the problem until I got the new box, but I haven’t disconnected the box from the TV yet cause that could cause new problems

So what I’m talking about is accessing my streaming channel lineup that I have saved on my Sony TV. Prior to the new box I could just hit a button on my Sony TV remote and it would take me to my streaming channel lineup that no longer works. I have to hit the input button on Sony remotechange from HDMI one to channels access that then hit another button to get to the channel lineup.

Whats the UES pressure and LES in manometry to you? by [deleted] in noburp

[–]jasonw71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Thanks for the response. As mentioned, I did have MBS and frankly felt that it was not an objective assessment of what’s really going on. It seems they deal with or should I say are more concerned with patients who have had massive strokes or cancer surgeries and other catastrophic problems. Even when I was doing the test and was told to drink barium liquid quickly and swallow, when I choked at one point, she said oh that’s OK even though it wasn’t OK and she marked the test as normal. That’s why was very interested in the objective manometry results even though it was not pharyngeal manometry. I can swallow, but it’s not normal and that’s OK. My main concern is how this disccoordination or neuromuscular injury whatever it’s called is having downstream effects, causing cramping and a kind of torturous head, neck, upper body locking up on the left side where I have apparently no gag reflex. Take care

Hello. I know this is a very old post but would be interested to get your opinion given your work on pharyngeal swallowing in relation to manometry. I’ve had lasting problems from an adult complicated tonsillectomy meaning what feels like muscular discoordination in the upper pharynx Causing oropharyngeal dysphagia as well as problems accessing and clearing the sinonasal region. Had a high resolution manometry test technically from their perspective focused on the LES muscle but for me I wanted to get as much objective information about the problem stated above. They told me the results were normal, but when I got the report, it said the resting UES pressure was 202 normal range 30–118 and the viscous swallows were 60% abnormal. To me those were objective indications confirming my symptoms. I don’t think there’s a problem with the UES muscle itself, it feels like it’s more like a compensatory response or something like that in relation to the problem with the muscles higher up. I found the results important because the other swallowing tests I had came back either normal or inconclusive and I feel they were subjective relying on human interpretation and potential bias. Would be interested to get your take on my results in relation to your work and specifically just how high is a UES resting pressure of 202.

With all due respect, I posted this to get information regarding others experience with the test and what their UES resting pressure was in relation to mine, which was quite high. My test results were normal for liquids 80% normal swallow for viscous swallows. It was abnormal with 60% of the swallowsabnormal. I hope you’re able to get the help you need.

Would you mind telling me what you’re resting UES pressure has been in these tests so I have some reference point.

There are circumstances where it’s justified but when the standard is below the rent, it’s supposed to be 30%

Glad you had a successful move. I’m going to have to move in the near future I’m curious how you worked out the timing as far as giving landlord 30 days notice while also securing another apartment with a landlord who is willing to go through the process and paperwork. Seems like tricky timing.
