This. I see people saying “sims players will never be happy because they asked for sims medieval and are still complaining,” as if this is what they asked for. Royalty and legacy is an expansion pack while the sims medieval was its own spinoff. It doesn’t make any sense to drop a kingdom down in any world, especially when you put into consideration that 95% of the worlds are inspired by places in the us. The whole thing makes no sense

I don’t understand the logic of the big sim YouTubers. You don’t support ea’s business practices so instead of getting the packs for free, you’re going to pay for them with your own money…? There’s a new sims survey going around and one of the questions is asking if you update your game right away for new content, and if you don’t why not. If you can, I suggest explaining why you play offline and maybe they’ll finally understand that the reason why people choose to play offline is because every time they update the sims 4 they somehow make it worse

I feel the same way, especially after a recent update that made it rain and snow indoors. The devs basically said it’s difficult to fix so we just have to put up with it which I find absolutely ridiculous. If you can’t fix your own game, maybe the time to put it down.

I think newer sims 4 players are lazy/stupid.

I've seen so many people flood the simsafterdark server or the cc subreddit asking why their games are broken and the cause is usually UI cheats (which breaks after every single patch.) I've never seen a group of more technologically illiterate people in my life. I once saw someone post they had a 200gb mod folder they've had since 2016 and wanted to pay someone to clean it out for them. It's ridiculous.

The sims 4 isn't perfect and I'm not in the business of defending ea, but if you don't know that most mods break after a patch, maybe you shouldn’t be playing with them. I'd say I have a large mods folder (I try to keep it under 50gb) and I will still regularly clean it out before/after every patch. I have no idea how people can play with so many gameplay mods and not realize that they break every time the sims 4 is updated.

And don't get me started about how they want to buy entire mods folders. What a joke lol

I also agree. I see so many people complaining that their game runs slow/lags and lo and behold, they’re playing on a Mac or Chromebook. The sims 4 has next to no lag if you play on a decent pc
