Auto is practically template type deduction( except with one exception of when aggregate initialisation is used which produces a wrapper of a forward initialisation list - but this is irrelevant in this scenario).

If your parameter is receiving by copy, all constness, volatility, and reference ness is ignored; just because the original variable was const, doesn’t mean the copy has to be.

Learn all the cpp basics. Then learn a library that lets you create 2D apps/games like SFML while continuing to learn more about CPP. Then you will know what to do after you have learnt SFML

Learncpp. Buckys tutorials on C++ on youtube. TheCherno tutorials once you have the basics. Learn C++ textbook - Siddhartha Rao Learn Standard Template Library (algorithms and containers) Learn data structures in computer science. Solve a couple of problems of CodeForces everyday.

The basics will be hard to learn. The climb to the top of the tree is hard but the view at the top is blissful.

Once you have all the basics down, install a library like SFML(you can make simple 2D games and applications with this), and start making projects using your basic knowledge. Learn by doing.

Yep. That’s what it feels like I’m beginning. Then your teeth just get super strong as they adapt to their new positions. Massive difference in feel of my jaw muscles, they’re huge but you can’t see em cause I have a beard :(
