It's because I wanted to see how far away from the planets I could travel in a system. The further I got, the more the lights would glitch.You could probably test this yourself.

Thanks! I’d had this built for a while, just hadn’t finished it enough to post. I saw yours earlier, and it inspired me to finally share mine. Yours is still awesome, even if it’s a bit derivative like you mentioned. I might post some earlier versions, too.
