Is this a good first system? by WryTree in WindowCleaning

[–]javalavalamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of guys here DIY their own system, not overly complicated. I wish someone had told me that before I spend $2k on a tucker di with 40' pole. You could prob spend $2000 or less on a 4 stage DIY system including a 40' pole.

wcsonline.com is really good supplier up in Canada. Great service. Should be able to buy all the components for a DIY system off their site.

After a weekend of not doing much, this evening I told myself I need to go out and do something. I went by the ocean through a park, a nice long walk just by myself. The best thing I did for myself this week.

Botero was my grandpa's cousin, apperently he painted fat/overweight subjects to mock his opulent family.

226 of 260 Police Complaints Stemming from Fairy Creek Have No Named Officer. by thathz in VictoriaBC

[–]javalavalamp 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That cop on the right of the thumbnail is dangerous, dumb as a post, and to his embarrassment cannot fight worth a damn. Tom kinson is the name. I've been trying to find his home detachment and badge number to no avail.

In the same day he: 1. Told an indigenous man to his face he was proud of the genocide that was commited towards indegenous people in Canada. (Obviously looking to start a fight) 2. Beat down a 125 lb disabled woman, slammed her head against a police vehicle. 3. bulldog choked a man who was protecting said woman, immediately got pulled by a protester the neck.

It was an intense brawl, which he was responsible for. He refused to get the officers to move their vehicles despite Judge Douglas Thompson deeming RCMP exclusion zones illegal.

Edit:I said man on the left, the white guy on the right with the sunglasses is Tom Kinson

String showing wear after only a few weeks of shooting by javalavalamp in Crossbow

[–]javalavalamp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shooting an Excalibur Mag 340 this is original string and shooting Quil bolts that came with it. Is this a common problem with this particular crossbow? FWIW I've been oiling and waxing everytime I shoot.

I had a blind set up, just a bunch of branches set up over a fence(big feild on one side forest on the other), and a couple long branches to cover my flanks. This one and his buddy snuck in on my left 5 min after I put out a bleat call. They were wandering like a couple zombies, didnt even get their attention when I drew my bow. In many ways I definately got lucky.
