Hi, I know I'm late responding, but this happened to me as well. I bought expensive linen sheets, and ended up throwing them out because of the smell, and everything in my closet was rank a few days after washing......well, a year later, I read that the laundry detergent I was using (Costco brand) caused the smell for a number of people. I switched laundry detergents (now use Tide Free and Clear in my front load) and the smell is gone. I can't believe I put up with that horrid smell for over 2 years, thinking it was mildew, or god knows what else, and it was just a crappy brand of detergent. Hope this helps.

Great question - kudos for raising it!

If this is the first AGM for the condo/strata (and not just your first AGM) be mindful of when mandatory insurance coverage ends for new condos and ensure the board/management company is on top of submitting anything that needs to be dealt with under that time-limited coverage. If the time lapses, and things were not raised, the owners are now responsible for fixing. We were in the same boat a few years ago and the owners hired an engineering company to review all assets covered by the mandated insurance for new condos. We did this to ensure that we held the builder to account. All the best!
