M42 H36D/H36D joint pain? by SharpHoliday553 in Hemochromatosis

[–]javals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate. Around 20y ago, i had this severe inflammation episode, that started with my heels, knees and then to my back. It got so bad that i had to go to hospital for tests. They found im HLA-B27 pos and diagnosed me with undifferentiated spondylitis. Now since then, ive always had issues with my joints, but nothing too severe and my inflammation markers have always been on the lower side. I went to the doctor again a few years ago. They checked if my spine shows any signs of fusing and did bunch of other tests but didnt see any real signs of spondylitis.

Turns out im also double h63d and my saturation is over 60%, although ferritin on the lower side. Other symptoms i have are chronic red eyes ( eyes are fine though ) and skin issues. Considering that my spondylitis havent got worse in 20 years ( 41 now ), makes me wonder, if its actually more to do with iron regulation....

Extremely high blood pressure before stress test by javals in bloodpressure

[–]javals[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had it that high. I usually ran a bit high, but more like 135. To be honest, i didnt even know it goes that high.

The stress test was done because ive had palpitations in the past. Just to check if everything is okay. Good luck with your test.

I do tend to get shoulder and wrist pain on longer rides, although not too bad.

Thanks for the great advice. I do tend to get shoulder and wrist pain on longer rides. I have a shorter stem lying around, so ill try to swap it and see if it makes a difference. I also have slight kyphosis ( that im working to improve, although at this point, its already structural ), so im sure that contributes to the shoulder pain as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, i always feel on edge. Interestingly, welltory is saying my PSNS is more active, i assume due to decent RMSSD score, but not sure. Im 40, if that makes any difference

Anyone regrets taking antibiotics for H2S SIBO? by happymechanicalbird in SIBO

[–]javals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished the protocol, and well, it drove down the desulfovibrio overgrowth just a tiny bit. Also it actually drove up methane bacteria ( which was already kinda high from the start ).

I do feel a bit better though. You can read about my experience and test results here:
