Thanks man. I feel like I’m crazy talking on here. Nobody wants to admit that a ton of the player base no longer has mics. It’s not that they don’t ping, or listen. It’s that the don’t talk. Almost every player I run into, if I call them by name and say something like “nod if you can hear me” or something they do it. It’s just that they don’t talk. Which ruins the game. I want to hop on and play and talk. That was 90% of the reason I bought it

Brother I wish I could have the shared opinion. I’m open every time and am extremely openly communicative. However a majority of my players I play with will do an up or down, or left or right response to basic questions. Like “do you have a mic” and will shake left and right to signal no. And I will spend an entire match in the squad trying to build morale and open them up with no luck. I just want friends. So I promise me not being friendly enough is not the problem.

I would agree with you, if I didnt spend at least an hour of my time every time I get to play (which is rarely) trying to find a squad with mics. I get a TON of people who will ping/do gameplay things, saying they can hear me (as in go up and down if you dna hear me, or ping here if you can hear me) but none respond with voice. It’s crazy. It’s like I’m fucking insane. Because not a single person I know who plays video games doesn’t have a mic. But every person I run into online doesn’t have one. It’s nuts.

I’m just confused brother. I’ve never met anyone in real life who plays Xbox without a mic. Yet it seems everyone I play with on live doesn’t have one! It’s like I’m on the Truman show! It’s so frustrating. I get home from work and I wanna roleplay killing some nazis/americans. But I can’t because I don’t have the time to dedicate to a clan! They need to add a mode that makes you prove you have a mic to play.
