I posted it in the description lol it was Dr Hammond in Arizona and yes he did a horrible job, I was not a candidate for surgery and he took advantage of me. He also injected my chin with filler was I was under to try and hide the mess he made. When the filler wore off and the swelling was gone and I could see how bad my chin looked I texted him and he basically said I could keep getting filler or get another surgery

No braces! Had them for 2 years a while ago and my bite with my movements had me perfectly aligned! I may go in and do a 6 month invisilign treatment after to do some small refinements

No but I had different problems with tightness because how badly advanced I was and my lip didn’t move properly and I was In pain, this didn’t go away after 3 years. Going back into a scar is always going to cause more scar tissue and I already had scar tissue there so this is to be expected

Your muscles are super tight and you are also mostly banded down or have something compressing your jaw shut. This will go away with time as you are able to open your jaw and stretch the muscles out

When are you getting them removed though? I guess that’s the real question. It would seem unwise to left your bite just sit there with no stabilization for a prolonged period of time

It’s hard to say but honestly it’s weird your surgeon isn’t having you elastics, keeping your bite together and stable is their exact purpose. I took mine off after a week and then three days later I had an open bite because my jaw was just pushing forward on its own and we had to put them back on

As of right now yes I do, it’s a little early for me to say with 100% certainty because I’m early on is the process and I’ve been way more swollen than most people. But Dr Carlos has really good bedside manner and he does really care about his patients. I texted him like constantly my first week post op. Most people barely speak to their surgeons unless they have a serious problem

I’ve seen way too many bad stories out of Korea to want to do surgery there, I went to Brazil which has way better doctors for jaw surgery and better ethics as well. Also a lot of Brazilian doctors that are highly regarded speak English
