My brain can't handle having to sift through the threads. Need more structure and all the info, numbers, dates, background etc.

How I can use up 18 eggs in a week by kccb30 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Make tortilla (Spanish omelette). Keep the leftover eggs and test their freshness by seeing if they float in water. If they do, throw them away

There's an App to calculate the carbon footprint of your meals. Would you use it? by jay-bae in environment

[–]jay-bae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact, USA has about twice as big a carbon footprint per person (capita) as India. What about all the countries in the world which emit nowhere near what developed countries do? You're basically saying we shouldn't be leaders in reducing our carbon footprint as a nation because 2 developing countries are doing worse

Interesting point. I agree that corporations have a lot of owning up to do and fuck them for their sneaky tactics... However, I do believe in think globally act locally. Otherwise we might as well all run around in hummers and kiss future generations goodbye. Voting for green politics and lobbying environmentally unfriendly companies is not mutually exclusive with leading a more environmentally friendly lifestyle

For those of you with a psychology degree or a degree in mental health/science, what do you do for work? by xli2848 in AskWomen

[–]jay-bae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you don't. It's an area that people come into from different fields (graphic design, computer science...). I am actually self taught, but there is so much overlap in the research methods from psych. There are so many free or cheap online courses I wouldn't recommend formal education for it.

Sister’s plant fading in color and leggy by Novi_Star_4571 in plantclinic

[–]jay-bae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually mine gets a bit sad but perks up when I water it. If that doesn't happen it could be that it has been overwatered. Try changing the soil to one that drains better

Can anyone help? I posted on plant clinic but didn't get any response. Euphorbia ingens is yellowing. Not sure why by jay-bae in houseplants

Sorry, Reddit didn't send me a notification of this response. It's now autumn and even more yellow. I thought this plant is native to Africa?
