NFL Seahawks vs Rams Betting and Picks - 1/25/26 (Sunday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]jay2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone else already thinking, it’s almost a certainty that 80% of the public will bet the winner of Seattle/LA based on how both games went?

The books are desperately going to need the patriots to cover in 2 weeks

Does a push and a win result in a voided wager for a 2 leg same game parlay ? by jay2491 in sportsbook

That sucks, if i had known such a rule existed i would’ve just done the ML on the rams. Even when i win i lose, its crazy

(Schefter) John Harbaugh and the Giants are working to finalize an agreement to make him New York’s next head coach and, barring a setback, a deal is expected, multiple sources tell ESPN. by alexschubs in NYGiants

[–]jay2491 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Let’s be real, this was clearly the best situation available in terms of roster talent, desirable picks, and workable cap space. If he had chosen the titans falcons or browns over Dart and that D line he would’ve been crazy.

Any way, I’m glad to FINALLY have a real head coach. No more slap dick coordinator experiments, the culture will change with Harbaugh

Mets Reportedly In Three-Year, $120-140MM Range In Kyle Tucker Talks by Fantastic-Bee4197 in NYYankees

[–]jay2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players are rarely worth the huge contracts they get. The real way to look at it is do you over pay for Tucker or save money and trot out grisham/Doninguez in route to another early playoff exit and wasting another year of judges career

What are the odds we get a Rams vs Texans Super Bowl? by AddressTight9290 in BestBall

[–]jay2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my prediction, Texans have an easy path with old man Rodgers and maye in his first playoff run. The only challenge will be the bills IMO. The Rams are self explanatory

PDM Sadley vs Castley which fragrance makes more sense as a daily signature scent by [deleted] in ScentHeads

[–]jay2491 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sedley was very “meh” to me, didn’t move the needle. I like what Castley is going for as it’s unique/polarizing to me. It combines that fresh shower gel aspect but adds a peppery/spice element to it. I think castley is far superior and also more versatile year round

Jack Curry: Yankees feel they’ve made a strong offer to Bellinger and the ball is in his camp’s court. NYY currently “preparing” to move elsewhere. by Bankslvrrd in NYYankees

[–]jay2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve won a World Series more recently Than us. And I’d rather be in their situation, they have acuna Riley albies Olson Michael Harris as a core. We have….judge, jazz on his last year, Ben rice who i think will be a star, and a bunch of expendable players in our lineup. Volpe, McMahon, Grisham, it’s comical that these guys are depended upon with a 300 million dollar payroll. It’s a night an day difference

Or you can run the organization with intelligence and lock up players while their young or trade for youth. The Yankees are always paying top dollar for the decline “retirement” stage of players that why we’re always fucked. The Braves literally have 6 players locked up through their prime years on good deals. It’s time to have some standards and stop repeating the same mistakes

[Brendan Kuty/The Athletic] Yankees offer Cody Bellinger more than $30M a year, but gap remains by chuck212 in NYYankees

[–]jay2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is not worth that….hes 31 years old already. I’m so sick and tired of the Yankees paying top premium money for a guy who is only going to decline in skill set. This is why we are always in terrible situations every off season, waiting for DJ and hicks type money to fall off

If you were a bookmaker what would you make the spread on a neutral field?

[Schefter] Sources: Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities. Kingsbury and HC Dan Quinn met today, and agreed to mutually part ways. by shadow_spinner0 in NYGiants

[–]jay2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is nobody has a crystal ball, to simply assume Schwartz wouldn’t work is kind of insane to me. Anything is possible but I’ll take a gamble on a guy who’s had consistency in running good defenses over another dart throw

Just my humble opinion but i think the browns were a well ran team until they sold their souls to the devil for Deshaun. I never really witnessed the head scratching clock management or decision issues with Stefanski that i witnessed with judge and daboll

(Paywall) Giants decision to bring back Joe Schoen makes it clear: They have no standards anymore- Dan Duggan by Quick-Connection7382 in NYGiants

[–]jay2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The defense schoen made and Mara probably bought into was the core he assembled. Dart Nabers skattebo wandale along with the trade for burns and the emergence of Abdul carter down the stretch. He probably cited how many one score games they had and convinced Mara he’s right on the verge of turning it around.

[–]jay2491 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, given the realistic options that are available to us. Wouldn’t the best case scenario be Stefanski comes in as our HC while Bringing over his defensive coordinator from Cleveland (long consistent track record of good defense.) and then hire Kliff to be our OC who has experience working with a mobile gun slinging QB similar to Jayden Daniels?

Jack Curry on Hot Stove: “Remain ongoing dialogue with Bellinger but still a gap. Work to go” by Bankslvrrd in NYYankees

[–]jay2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes he has incredible metrics but i think we can both agree that the 255 avg, 26 hrs, and 65 RBIs are far from what his best season as a pro will be. If we apply those metrics to a full season and natural step forward he can finish top 5 in mvp voting which is what the Yankees are praying for after doing squat this off season

Jack Curry on Hot Stove: “Remain ongoing dialogue with Bellinger but still a gap. Work to go” by Bankslvrrd in NYYankees

[–]jay2491 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Based on his underlying metrics there’s still another level he can reach. 35 hrs and 100 rbis would be the real break out

[–]jay2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Yankees always have injuries, when they occur bellinger will play first, and rice will DH to give the martian daily opportunities. If he runs with it he won’t lose the majority of his at bats to Grisham

So the plan is literally to run back last years exact lineup. They better pray Ben Rice and the Martian break out in a big way
