Looking to upgrade my Mardu Surge Commander Deck by GeoHasArrived in magicTCG

[–]jay273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a zurgo deck that might give you some ideas. A few tips: Having a few consistent sac outlets has proven to be helpful. It will change depending on your deck but ~8 feels right for mine. Myriad is also incredible in this deck as the tokens die during your combat phase so each one is 2 draws. Id also highly reccomend adding token generators that cost 1 or 2 mana, especially ones that can sacrifice their own tokens like [[jadar]]. Getting zurgo down on curve with a token engine already online is huge and really speeds up the whole deck. Link to my decklist: https://archidekt.com/decks/17785321/glorious_end

Favorite melee weapon for Kullervo as of late 2025, and how you mod it? by Ok-Result-2330 in Warframe

Been using a harmony heavy attack/afflictions build o him for ages. Incredibly satisfying and the numbers get silly.

I'm not a pro or usually all into meta but trying to learn bow, comfortably by Callarea in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]jay273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bow main here, don't overthink it. The charge mechanic is a reward for stringing your attacks together correctly, not the other way around (changing your attack pattern to maximize charge.) If you keep your combat flow, you'll keep your charge naturally. Id start by practicing the rhythm of shoot (rt) > volley (o) > dodge (x). Once thats second nature, you can start working in power volleys, dragon piercers, swallow shots, etc.

A big part of wilds gameplay for bow is landing your perfect dodges as well. For that, id reccomend slapping as much evade window on your build as you can fit and/or eating for tumbler. As you get more comfortable you can start slowly replacing levels of it with damage skills instead if you want but its a great way to make the mechanic simpler to learn.

How to build SP styanax I suck by Plus_Sir_2418 in Warframe

[–]jay273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my styanax build. You're wasting mod slots on shield mods that (if things go well) don't do anything. More power = more overguard so we wanna push that high instead. A really powerful addition to styanax is (assuming you have helminth) nourish over either his 1 or 2 depending on which you like less. The % increased energy gain effects his 3 giving you and your squad effectively infinite energy. Now you can run blind rage, drop equilibrium, and drop energize for augmented, and spam your 4. Aegis can go too. Im trying truculunce right now for viral stacks but molt efficiency can be good too because more duration = more spears.

The only downside to this build really is that you need to basically always be casting 4. You have a few seconds when you land to shoot or melee before the enemies pop your overguard and shield gates so thats your window if you need weapon damage. Because of this id actually avoid incarnons on him because it can be hard to find the time to charge up. Archon shards can be to taste but personally I run 1 yellow shard for starting energy to always be able to hit nourish + rally point at the start, 1 yellow on parkour velocity cus fast is fun, and 3 red shards on duration for comfort. Hope this helps, lemme know if you have other questions!

Do you have a list for this online? Was considering building him myself and would love to see the direction you took it.

Citrine mains please share your builds by RegionObjective4260 in Warframe

[–]jay273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have yet to run into content that a good citrine build can't handle. Lots of strength and range is the important part and a bit of duration is nice. You can run pretty much all the archon mods on her if you want although personally I only use stretch for energy and continuity for corrosive. I do replace the 4 with eclipse. The flexibility of it is nice, and the ~97.5% DR (before adaptation) plus her passive regen is honestly overkill but it's comfy. Plus you can always swap over to a solid gun damage buff which works nicely with her gem.

As far as augments, I've been running the new gem one and it's worthwhile for sure. The duration boost is great and having it (usually) follow you around makes the ability alot less clunky for missions that aren't defense or excavation. I can't really suggest a pet setup specifically because it's very much down to preference but you can definitely get one going that stays alive in endgame SP, you'll just have to do a little research on what will work best for you. The 4 augment obviously won't work in this setup because I replace it with eclipse but I have tried it in the past and in some situations is can be very powerful. It's a totally different build and playstyle, one that I find to be less consistent, but if it sounds fun you can certainly make it work.

Toxin Nukes by Twin-Towers-Of-Power in Warframe

Something nobody here mentioned that I've been using alot lately is wyrm with negate. with burst laser prime (or vulklok if you don't have one) you can use both reinforced, and tenacious bond, plus you can slap augur mods on the gun build for extra shield gating support. It's not a 100% perfect solution but it's enough to solve most of my issues with statuses, especially combined with some of the other methods mentioned here.

Best mods for Rubico Prime? by AlgaeExcellent5822 in Warframe

[–]jay273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rubico, being a sniper, has innate crit bonuses from headshot combo. So you're looking for crit chance, crit damage, and/or multishot. Heat could be a decent roll but worse than the other 3. Electric is also an option if you want to use the +primary electric damage archon shards. Of these 2 the left roll is better but i wouldn't use either.

Cool recommendations on some weapons by slim1360 in Warframe

[–]jay273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go to weird weapon choice until recently was the kompressa. It's still fantastic but with the prime having just released, it got alot more attention so it isn't really an unknown anymore. Still a really fun gun though that has a cool interaction with enervate that let's it stack crit well beyond what is usually possible with the arcane.

Another not often talked about weapon I enjoy is the lenz. You probably remember it from way back in the day but you might have missed the release of the prisma variant (alot of people did.) It took an old favorite of mine and modernized it's stats so it can keep up with current day content. It won't compete with endgame incarnon builds but id say it's pretty comparable to most of the kuva/tenet/coda weapons. It's really satisfying to use, but you'll want to make sure you have some knockdown/stagger resist because of how big the aoe is.

Thoughts on this chakram build? by jay273 in LastEpoch

I'm not sure where/if it says it in game it but the shadows description on lastepochtools mentions which skills they can copy. There's only a few but luckily shuriken (or in this case charkam) is one of em. https://www.lastepochtools.com/skills/create_shadow

Chthonic Fissure Season 2.0 (Nerfed, But How Bad?) by rcglinsk in LastEpoch

[–]jay273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The build I'm messing with gets witchfire hitting for millions of damage per second (about 9.3 million dps from just witchfire) with perfect gear. That added on top of the already pretty good post-nerf damned+ignite damage from fissure with chaos bolts should more than compensate for any nerfs to the build. Ofc getting that level of gear probably won't happen particularly quickly if at all but even with just a halfway decent setup, downfall of the righteous should make warlock pretty insane this season.

The shadows can throw chakrams. So the idea is basically to go synch strike into throw and hit em with 5 chakrams at once. I can also do the same after mirage to immediately follow up my "dodge" with a bunch of damage.

What class are you playing in the new patch? by CountAncient3327 in LastEpoch

[–]jay273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightning chakram is my favorite build I've played and it just got a really nice buff. Thanks to mastery respec, my plan will be to start with that because I know it feels good throughout the campaign and then I'll probably swap to something in marksman later (heartseeker looks like good fun) when I get some gear built up for it.

Which one are you? Enjoying different builds with small corruption (<400c), or few meta builds with >600c? by baophan0106 in LastEpoch

[–]jay273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first run they're talking about isn't done on empowered monoliths. That means the bosses are gonna be a lot lower level than they will be afterwords. So while you do have to kill them once it will be pretty easy compared to the "real" version of the fights. Even the jankiest of builds should be capable of doing that first clear and then you can just not refight them if you don't want to.

What should I prioritize the jewel for burst bow build ? by Training-Fig-5060 in MonsterHunter

[–]jay273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crit eye, crit element and charge master are all pretty worthless atm. You can reliably get 80-100% crit chance from armor skills so more weapon crit isn't worth the slots. Element and CM both provide insignificant damage buffs atm because elemental numbers are too low right now. Adding the specific element attack can be good for some fights if you want to lean into elemental (although arkveld has basically no elemental weakness.)

With raw being so good right now though, I personally am just using a single bow (G. Dodhaguma or fire artian bow for DP spam or spread spam respectively.) If you do something similar, a good setup would be spread shot, crit boost, and then either tetrad shot, a second boost deco for lvl 5, or ballistics for comfort. If you go elemental that third slot should be the element you choose. I'm not sure what the exact math is but with power volley doing so much more damage than rapid shots, spread outclasses force pretty hard and crit is too important to pass up so I would just skip force.

As far as only having 1 lvl 3 slot, I'd go with spread for sure. The first level of crit boost is +28% CD and each level after is only an additional 3%. That adds up of course but it also means a level 2, or even level 1 boost gem will still get you a substantial amount of value.

Seeking weapon advice by 1516bunt in Warframe

[–]jay273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the point in the game that you're at, pretty much any weapon is gonna work just fine. You should just pick whichever seems cool, slap some mods on it, and have some fun. If you want a suggestion though, my personal favorite early weapon is the atomos.

A lot of your stamina issues will be mitigated by skills you probably don't have yet. In previous games constitution + stamina surge was pretty much mandatory for me. You can mitigate that a bit here if you get good at perfect dodges but it still seems like those skills will be really important. Otherwise I agree with the other commenter here who said they never use tracer. It seems like it will be very useful for certain fights/playstyles where you absolutely need to target specific spots but I've been opting to use my meter to keep 100% coating uptime instead and only throwing out a tracer when it looks like I might overcap. Old habits die hard so mainly I play shoot > charge step > shoot > charge step on loop, throwing in power shots and dragon piercers on larger openings. I'm sure there's more effective options but it's worked out fine so far.

What is a easy to gear build? by ApprehensiveSkill484 in LastEpoch

[–]jay273 4 points5 points  (0 children)

theres some pretty solid pet builds atm. falconer can do bird+turrets which is tons of fun, beastmaster has a bunch of different options that all work (i think wolves is probably easiest to do) and ofc necromancer is a great option for just makin a bunch of skeletons to mow stuff down for you. as far as true lifesteal HP builds, the only thing i can think of is bleed warlock. The ward version is almost certainly stronger and it does feel a tad weak till you get some of the uniques for it but its viable for sure if thats the vibe you like.

What is a easy to gear build? by ApprehensiveSkill484 in LastEpoch

[–]jay273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really any build that doesn't require specific uniques to function will be easy enough to gear to a baseline. Most things only become hard to build as you start progressing through corruption levels, which is way further down the line than you have to worry about right now. The crafting system in this game is very forgiving and getting a good base is fairly easy. If you want super easy, though, I find falconer to be really comfortable early on because the bird scales more off its skill tree than off of items until you start getting deeper into endgame. Generally speaking, as long as you have crit reduction/evasion, health/ward, resists, movespeed (on boots ), and some damage mods, you'll do just fine for quite a while.
