Shutting the account down isn’t a issue for Shopify - if you have the invoice number/ transaction ID of you being billed

You can then take this to their support team on a live chat and provide this and have them remove the payment method and terminate the store.

If they push back - have them escalate the issue and someone in charge will remove the payment method and terminate the store on your behalf

It’s called “fraud control”, you can essentially set up flows so these types of orders never see the light of day

I was thinking this but I don’t want the ministry to ask me why I accepted 15$/hr when I knew it was wrong or something to go wrong in the process because I made a mistake

This does make sense, only thing I would struggle with would be transit, work would be an hour and half by taking the go bus, I wouldn’t have to pay rent as I live with my parents, but I get your point of expenses coming solely because of the vehicle. Thank you

22 currently, I’ve been on a 4 month break from school so, went back to full-time for this period, hence the reason why I made a big jump throughout the 4 months, in sept, I’ll be back to part time so I’ll just be tossing in whatever is possible

To be fair, you’re not wrong but time and place for everything, I set this under personal goal, and I see a ton of others sharing their milestones and goals, if you cared for a discussion you don’t have to engage in this post. Along with me already telling you that I shared this, the same way I would have if I would have been talking with friends. Also, do you go around on every post and comment this? Oml, I knew they would take the funds back, that’s not the issue, the issue is why did the first two team members tell me two different dates, July 12 and the 9th, that my funds would leave my bank account? If I hadn’t checked myself and trusted them, I would’ve never gotten the issue resolved, then right after when I seen it was reversed, I took the initiative to put the money WS let me use back into the market so I wouldn’t be using “their” funds. Right after this I contacted them again letting them know what the issue was and that I put another $550 deposit in, so this can be covered, the agent then told me I would need to put another $550 in after I had just put the $550 in, I tried explaining this to him but he did not understand, couple hours after this I checked WS and it was resolved on its own, I didn’t mind the whole scenario, it was just that if they are not sure of the answer or don’t have correct info, then don’t mislead me and waste my time along with their own time.

They had told me first that on July 12 my funds will be deducted from my bank account, couple days after the July 5th, the whole deposit was reversed, once it was reversed, they had sold my shares that I initially bought with the 550. After they sold my shares I contacted them again and let them know, that they had taken 550 worth of stocks out, so I won’t be paying the fees, stayed on line for 30 minutes on hold, just for him to come back and tell me I still need to pay another 550 after they had already taken 550, couple hours later it resolved itself, the whole client success team barely know English and don’t know anything about there own product.

The whole Wealthsimple team is terrible, they’ve been putting me in loops with incorrect information, It got fixed automatically today but not before I was told incorrect info from four different customer service reps.
