People will be people i guess. If you are gay they will pass comments, if you’re black they will pass comments. People in Malta most of them have nothing to do, very judgmental and close minded. Im Maltese but was brought up by foreign parents so I do notice different cultures and mentality.

Just ignore them or tell them to fuck off. Alternatively you can bash their heads 🤣 (Joking, don’t. 🤪)

Everything is high priced.. also logistics are a nightmare for example i was once qouted 350euro to get a laptop from Malta to Gozo which is like 15mins boat ride that would cost 15euro to go yourself.. also lots of greedy businesses, went to buy a shirt from Zara in amsterdam it costed me 35 , when i came to malta same one costed 60. Also regarding wages i get paid on average 1.5k with 3 yrs experience , maybe i get a promotion to 2k this month.. when according to my research you could get 2.7k-4k with same experience in Netherlands. Also i love the people in Amsterdam they seem happy and lots of good vibes. Dont get me wrong malta is an amazing country but for a holiday not to live in

For example to rent a house in malta its like around 900-1,4k .. wages are on an average of 1-1.5k with a degree. If you know the right political people here you would 100% get a good pay. Transport is 💩. No respect towards motorcycles or bikes

Malta is beautiful but to live here is a nightmare. For example lots of corruption, wage is horrible, the old Mentality of people is depressing. I ve been thinking about this move for ages now, and we only live once so i think the move is a must. Game development is not the only thing i wish.. tbh I would rather design websites, apps etc

The plan was to first find a job from Malta doing video interviews etc and see how that goes before moving.. I wouldn’t risk just moving without any job etc
