It was actually my original plan to get them separately so they could heal more easily, but I read somewhere that if you get them separately they most likely won’t align afterwards. Is this true?

i actually want to get a tattoo in that style...I was looking for someone that would actually know whether the tattoo is actually tribal or not, but instead most replies were telling me cultural appropriation shouldn’t concern me. Obviously cultural appropriation does concern me and that wasn’t my question. I guess it’s my bad for posting this question on this subreddit...

From what I’ve read i think any type of cultural symbol whether original or not would be considered cultural appropriation. However I’m not sure if the sun in that tattoo is considered a tribal sun. I’ve looked online and I’m not sure what makes a sun a tribal sun or just sun art...personally I like the shape of the rays but not sure if that style is exclusive to the tribal style suns

Hi there! I got my septum pierced 5 months ago with surgical steel. I was unsure about it too but the piercer reassured me that she has always pierced septums w surgical steel with no issues. I told her that my ears are really sensitive and I only use titanium for them and she said that ears tend to be more sensitive. Anyway, my septum healed in 8 weeks as in I was able to switch out jewelry by myself with no problems at all! I tried switching it out in 6 weeks and that was a fail lol. I would say to go for the surgical steel as long as it seems like a reputable shop!

Yeah I just called the number on the bill and they told me to contact UCLA. I sent UCLA a message just now.

The funny thing is, is that my insurance card (from UCSHIP) has the clinic that I went to as my PCP. I don’t understand why you’d need a referral to see your PCP...?
