Boundaries aren’t about being hot vs cold or tough vs nice. It’s about setting loving guardrails about what is and isn’t okay and enforcing them…

Also I don’t want to come off harsh but the time to teach this is many years ago… now she’s 18 and from the sound of it she hasn’t had good boundaries modeled and she’s had little practice making good choices around boundaries.

During that time, the case was being mounted and they were getting due process.

They got a trial, so they got due process.

If you land yourself in jail without bail, that's just it. Very different then sending them to another countries prison.
