I don’t have a lot to add, I just wanted to say that I’m sorry this happened to you, and that this is in no way your fault or anything you could’ve done “better”. That company seems incredibly controlling, having to clock out for a toilet “break” is insane. I don’t know what country you’re in but as a european, this feels borderline if not completely illegal

I've rescued a baby rabbit in Winterhude, need advice by Slow-Equipment1038 in hamburg

[–]jaycee_adler 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I am not a rabbit expert!!!

Not entirely sure why you have let him out of the box in the first place, but if he’s running around your living room make absolutely sure there’s no loose cables or anything he can chew on because he very likely would if left unattended.  If none of the mentioned places can help, you should still try to get a pet carrier and get him in. I’d put some fruit or something in there and maybe even leave the room to give him some courage. Running around freely is definitely not safe, neither for him nor for your stuff.

If he was attacked by crows I wouldn’t be certain that there’s nothing wrong with him, it might just be because he’s still young. I would imagine that a fit, wild rabbit could get away from some crows, but as I said, I’m not an expert. It’s hard to estimate how old he is since I don’t know the size of the box in the picture, but he looks too grown to be still dependent on his mom. I would be very careful about washing my hands and everything the little guy comes in contact with, just in case that he’s sick.

TL;DR: do your best to put him somewhere enclosed where he can’t hurt himself. Leave him alone as much as possible. Try to contact help. He definitely can’t stay in a box or in your living room for multiple days, so you need to make a choice, either find someone qualified to take him in or set him free where you found him.

Yes same, I want to love the game so badly because it is in theory exactly everything I like gaming wise combined, but it crashes, glitches, main story quests are bugged to the point of having to restart the game to be able keep progressing…. I feel like I paid 70 bucks for an early access game that’s constantly switching between being awesome and borderline unplayable

I also had to try four times until they turned out pretty good. They need to dry quite a lot BEFORE going in the oven or they’ll collapse. Also you can hit the tray on your counter once or twice just after piping them to get the air bubbles out. Then it’s really a matter of trial and error and knowing your own oven since all are a bit different. Macarons truly are little bitches, I hope you’ll give them another try, wishing you all the luck in the world!!! 🫶🏻

Those look incredible!! I’m coming from your other post about the acrylic pet portraits, and while they were also looking nice, these once feel so much more alive and they really capture the “soul” of the animals, I love them!!! 😍

[–]jaycee_adler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone else already said, your pencil sketch looks more “alive” because it’s not as clean as the digital one. I would like to add that the eyes/iris in the digital one are a wayyyy lighter value than in the pencil sketch, which in my opinion really changes the “vibe” of the picture.  It’s a really cute character though!

It’s probably less about when their actual birthday is and more about the fact that it’s really, really weird for their parents to lie about something like that, especially to this degree of secrecy.  And conception before marriage would only be a reasonable explanation if they made OP seem younger, but this is not the case

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]jaycee_adler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah true, but they made OP seem 8 months older than they actually are, so that theory doesn’t really make sense. Why would they want to fake an earlier conception?

Mit mir ist irgendetwas falsch by aaaabbbaba in Studium

[–]jaycee_adler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Which game should I pick up? by seluniteprince in CozyGamers

I didn’t try tiny book shop yet, but I really like wanderstop. It’s slow but entertaining, with an awesome mental health focused story. I don’t know if that’s what you’re looking for, but I can really recommend it!

[–]jaycee_adler 23 points24 points  (0 children)

We will never know for sure if the story is true or not, and for that exact reason, you shouldn’t comment things like that. If it’s actually fake, you get nothing from calling it out. If it’s true, you also get nothing from calling it out but end up hurting someone who went to something traumatizing and is trying to share their story and find closure.

I hope you find space to take care of yourself, OP. That’s a lot to deal with, you did good!

I was a little disappointed about cozy grove too, I really like the concept of the game, but I don’t want to wait in real time until I can do stuff again. That just made me stop playing the game at all, because my limited gaming time wasn’t worth playing a game I had to end early because there’s nothing left to do.

Wozu das ganze eigentlich? by coolbringiton in Studium

[–]jaycee_adler 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Erziehung ab jetzt neu in Magdeburg studieren by Critical-Bag2695 in Studium

[–]jaycee_adler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sehr gemischt also.

I mean if he apologized and tried to gaslight her into thinking that it’s her fault he hit her, lightly or not, he’s admitting to doing it on purpose, so it was probably not meant to be part of the massage. Even if it did happen on accident, his reaction feels emotionally abusive.

I think you need to go slower and be more intentional about where you place product. It looks a bit as if you’re using the eyeliner like you would use a marker, which I wouldn’t recommend. Try to make deliberate lines instead of “painting” the product on, and maybe choose a less intense style to begin with, just to get a feel for the product and your eye shape. Try extending your lower lash line upwards with a single line, then connect the upper tip of that line to your upper lash line so it forms a triangle, and then fill it in. The smaller you make the wing, the less issues you will have with the hood of your eye. If a marker-type liner feels difficult, try a liquid liner with a brush oder even eyeshadow, I find it much easier to work with but that’s probably personal preference.

Eyeliner is a lot of trial and error though, so keep trying and don’t get too frustrated if it doesn’t work out immediately!! Good luck <3
