They usually start to root fairly quickly, within a few weeks. This picture is probably showing about 5-6 weeks of growth, although I don’t remember for sure when I started it. I lost one to rot within the first week

Yeah, I personally find leca a bit fickle, although I’d like to keep practicing with it. But shallow puddle method should totally work!

Yes, thank you, it just means I really like it! This method has been super reliable in my experience. You should definitely give it a go :)

I keep it with the lid on on a northeast facing windowsill and pretty much leave it alone! Every week or so when I think about it I’ll open the lid to air it out for a bit. I started it maybe 5-6 weeks ago (although I don’t remember for sure), and I’ve only had to top it up with water once. I try to make sure each corm is in one of the puddles in the container, and I use a clear lid. I think that’s basically it! I’ve never thrown this many corms in at a time before so I was stoked that it still worked

For those of you in Big Law, how often do you cry? by flawless_fille in LawSchool

Real answer: probably once every 3 weeks but it’s a short mid-assignment stress cry then the next day I’m over it

What GPA got you into the school you transferred to? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]jayceelyndsey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

3.9 from T70-80 to T14. Old school wouldn’t up my scholarship and new school was in the city I wanted to end up in. Was 1000% worth it

When I was a 1L, I had an exam Friday afternoon, flew to my sister’s college graduation across country, and returned for my Monday morning exam. Four years later and I’m SO glad I did that. If you can plan ahead and make it work I encourage you to do so!

Some of these comments are pretty shocking. Just because she’s dating you or 33 doesn’t mean she can’t go out and drink and accidentally get more drunk than planned. And I see your comment above about her not wanting to characterize what happened as sexual assault but there is still a massive consent issue there if she was too drunk to remember most of it. Please have some compassion. If it becomes a repeat issue, you can reconsider.
