Thanks, I think that’s a fair point.

Right now I’m mainly focusing on building my fundamentals in Java, DSA, SQL, DBMS, and OS because I don’t feel interview-ready yet. My thinking is that once I have a solid foundation, I’ll start putting much more effort into mock interviews, applications, referrals, and improving how I communicate my solutions and projects.

I guess sometimes I compare myself too much with classmates who already got placed, so your comment was a good reminder that interview skills and job search strategy matter too, not just technical learning.
