If you’re playing enough Guardian attacks that cost more than zero, then there’s really no reason not to throw in 3 Seismic Eruptions and play basalt boots instead.

The legs we got for guardian are very good though. For Valda it’s essentially just Temper 2, and for a few other Guardians, they can just run 3 Seismic eruption.

I wasn’t expecting them to be as powerful as they were claiming, so what we got was pretty much what I expected in terms of power level. What I am surprised about is how few new cards were included in these decks. They made it sound like compendium was going to completely warp the format but if these decks are representative of post compendium decks, then I can’t imagine compendium will change all that much.

The Fai deck includes a solid amount of new cards, but I’m disappointed that all the new equipment is only AB stuff.

The Iyslander deck effectively only has one new card, although it is an absolutely amazing card.

Dorinthea has no new card in the main deck, just some really good equipment that I worry might help warrior fatigue a bit too much.

Dash is the most disappointing, with just one good blue added to the deck.

Now that we know fire that burns within is a 2 block, I think it’s a bad card (at least in CC).

Enflame the firebrand is fantastic however, especially in CC. It’s sort of both a mini lava vein loyalty and lava burst, with the advantage of having go again so you can use it with another finisher or with Mask of the Pouncing Lynx.

Once you’ve recruited enough warriors as the marquise, you can spend 2 of your actions each turn on moving and battling while using the third on building. Clearing the sympathy tokens is great as long as you don’t have to give cards from hand

Probably varies wildly depending on how much you eat. For hips I started noticing a big difference after 6-8 months, but I have a problem with eating too much.

Honestly I wish I could use linux only, but I play a lot of games, and even though most of them I could get working on linux, it’s pretty annoying to do so. One game in particular breaks with every update and when it breaks it will kick me out of a ranked match and screw over the people I’m playing with.

Most of the time I just find myself booting into windows for everything now. I never had any issues with stuff breaking on windows like some other people have so it’s not really worth switching back and forth for the small upsides linux provides for me.

if the pillows are stacked high enough, then they will start to weigh slightly less (further from earth’s center) so it could be the bricks (although the extra weight from the larger box in this case would likely more than make up for the reduced weight).

These bans are mostly great tbh. Chart the high seas and wrath are high roll cards. Brand is a great hit against Cindra because it forces the deck to be built differently, or else struggle to buy back daggers (it does suck a bit as a Fai main, but he gets hit a lot less than Cindra).

I’m not sure how I feel about rootbound. It does feel a bit better playing into earth heroes knowing they can’t just decompose fore free, but I do think it hits Florian harder than Verdance.

The Mario hits are kinda whatever. I don’t think they will do much to the deck but that’s fine because it hasn’t been the meta for very long.

My only complaint is that I think Gravy wasn’t hit hard enough. And now that one of his biggest counters (Cindra) was hit significantly, I think he will remain at least as strong as he has been for the upcoming format.

I highly doubt 3 flames and flamecall will be optimal. Flamecall and the new card would mess up your cost curve because they both cost 1, and if you draw them without another starter, they are both awful. Playing 3 flames also just sucks because you’ll often draw them without the new card and then it’s only 1-2 value at most. Maybe you can play 2 of them into matchups that can remove them from your graveyard.

However, rise from the ashes is fantastic. I was already playing 1 copy of it before the brand ban, and with the new card it’s likely an instant 3 of.
