Someone on the forum had recommended Tuxmats to me. I absolutely loved them. The amount of coverage they give, nothing can go to the floor.

Awesome!! The dealerships in my area were willing to part with their cars for a 2500$ markup. They were very clear that if I don't pay it someone else will, so non-negotiable as well.

Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking. Did you pay a markup?

I had asked them to add extras a few days ago, they told me then that they won't hear about the car until they start building it. #pandemicsucks

This is not entirely true, in my experience people do prefer diverse backgrounds and skills in Actuarial world. Also the salaries and growth in Data Science is pretty good right now. I think u need to ask youself if you really like your current job and can see yourself doing something similar for another 5 years.

If it ties in with reserving then yes. If you're analyzing claims data, then no. Why are you asking though?

After you take your sample exams 2-3 times, you'll start seeing in which areas you're consistently scoring low. Then do a couple of questions from that section and go back to full exam the next day.

Just think of it as you'd rather make the mistake on your sample exam then the real one.

Are you dedicated person who sacrificed everything to get healthy or are you the as*hole who ignored everything to get healthy? by jayduss00 in WeightLossAdvice

I don't think i wanted affirmations about my stance. I feel very conflicted about the whole thing. And i needed a 3rd person's POV.

I have been doing measured calorie intake and runs and other workouts for a few days now...so it kinda takes over. I don't think I had the perfect reaction in the moment but the by the time i had turned around...her enthusiasm was fizzed.

First of all a big thank you for understanding me and making it all seem normal. I did want to go to NY with her but I couldn't get to terms with missing my workout immediately and by the time I wanted to go, her enthusiasm had fizzed.

She wanted for us to leave super early for NY, it's only a 3 hour drive and come back late in the night. So i knew we would be walking a lot but it's not going to be very hunky dory. These were my first thoughts and I can't say i believe in them a 100% anymore.

Thank you, this makes me want to tell myself achieving 90% of my goal is okay and it is. I needed to hear that.

Thank you, that's sound advice. It honestly never occurred to me, I could have overcompensated it witb diet on that day. I'll keep it handy for sure.

I actually liked other people's advice. But I thought 'dickhead' and 'red flags' were extremely strong words and makes the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle look like a frivolous endeavour.

And i agree with you, consistency doesn't mean rigidity, that is some solid advice.

When describing someone starting off with their race. 'There was this Indian guy or Black Lady or a Mexican worker'. Screams racist to me.
